Terms & Conditions & Booking Agreement

By booking and paying a deposit with RestRetreats, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined below.

1. About RestRetreats

RestRetreats is a wellness retreat and wellness event service provider. We organise and facilitate wellness retreats and experiences worldwide, with the United Kingdom as our base. RestRetreats does not own, manage, or operate hotels, transport services, airlines, excursion providers, or venues. We are not a travel company and do not sell flights or travel packages.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.
  • Full payment details and payment schedule will be provided at confirmation.
  • Your booking is confirmed only once your deposit has been received.
  • By paying your deposit, you agree to all RestRetreats Terms & Conditions.

3. Guest Responsibility

By booking, you acknowledge and agree that:
  • You are responsible for arriving on time for the retreat and all scheduled activities.
  • You are responsible for arranging your own flights, travel, visas, and transfersunless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • No retreat package includes air tickets.
  • You are responsible for your own personal belongings at all times.
  • You agree to behave respectfully towards staff, facilitators, venues, and other guests.

4. Health & Participation

  • Participation in all activities is voluntary and at your own risk.
  • You confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate.
  • You agree to inform RestRetreats of any medical condition that may affect your participation.
  • RestRetreats does not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or medical supervision.
  • You may rest, modify, or withdraw from any activity at any time.

5. Insurance Requirement

Guests are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel and health insurancecovering:
  • Travel delays or cancellations
  • Medical treatment abroad
  • Injury or illness
  • Personal belongings
  • Emergency return travel
RestRetreats is not responsible for uninsured losses.

6. Third-Party, Liability & No-Claim Disclaimer

RestRetreats works with carefully selected third-party providers for accommodation, transport, catering, excursions, and retreat-related services. We do not own or operate these services directly. While we aim to deliver the highest standard of care and organisation, no claim may be made against RestRetreats or any third-party provider for:
  • Injury or illness
  • Loss, theft, or damage
  • Travel disruption or delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Cancellation or changes beyond our control
  • Acts of third parties
  • Force majeure / unforeseen circumstances
Participation in all retreat activities is undertaken entirely at the guest’s own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

7. Travel & Transfers

  • Retreat packages do not include flights.
  • Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel, transfers, and arrival logistics unless otherwise specified.
  • RestRetreats is not responsible for missed flights, travel disruption, or arrival delays.

8. Media & Photography

Photos and videos may be taken during retreats and events for:
  • Marketing
  • Social media
  • Website
  • Promotional materials
If you do not wish your face to appear in photos, you must notify us and tick the opt-out box. ☐ I do NOT consent to photos/videos showing my face. RestRetreats will respect reasonable privacy requests where possible.

9. Behaviour & Safety

RestRetreats reserves the right to remove any guest from a retreat without refund if their behaviour:
  • Poses risk to themselves or others
  • Is disruptive, abusive, unsafe, or unlawful
  • Violates retreat guidelines

10. Force Majeure

RestRetreats shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Travel disruption
  • Health emergencies
  • Weather conditions
  • Venue or supplier failure

11. Agreement & Legal Protection

By signing and/or paying your deposit:
  • You confirm the information provided is accurate
  • You accept full responsibility for your participation and wellbeing
  • You agree not to hold RestRetreats liable except where required by UK law
  • You agree to all Terms & Conditions of RestRetreats
This agreement is governed by UK law.
